Homes make people happy \u2013 at least that\u2019s what the latest Homebuyer Insights Report<\/a> says after talking to thousands of consumers throughout the United States. Buyers remorse? No way! In fact, most Americans have no regrets about buying a home.<\/p>\n

While the study found that most Americans prefer a mortgage payment to rent and felt that owning a home was a better, more stable and more desirable financial decision than renting, they also felt that the emotional benefits were just as important.<\/p>\n

Most homeowners (93%) credited their happiness to an improved lifestyle and the variety of hobbies that come with owning. In fact, 88% said it was the best decision they ever made. And they went on and on about the happiness factor of owning a home, such as:<\/p>\n
