How to make your home your happy place
Sometimes it feels like our homes are working overtime to accommodate the changing demands that quarantine has demanded of us – from gym to classroom to playroom to office to sanctuary. That’s a big load to carry and might leave your space feeling stale and unstimulating. Declutter Your Space
It’s scientifically proven that a tidy, clutter-free space lowers stress levels. If your home feels claustrophobic and cramped due to more people sharing the space and creating more chaos, it can be helpful for mental health to declutter your space and create spatial harmony. Define Boundaries

While color is already a great improvement, it can be further improved by increasing natural light. Find ways to reorganize your space to take full advantage of existing natural light. Reflective surfaces such as mirrors can be utilized to brighten up even the darkest areas.
Freshen the Air
Your mood can be easily influenced by scents. Ask anyone that walks by a freshly blooming rose garden! Adding candles, essential oil diffusers, fresh flowers, perfumed fragrances and plain ol’ fresh open air are all great ways to bring in some mood-enhancing aromas and add to your happy place. Another thing that you shouldn’t be neglecting is the quality of your air. Incorporating houseplants is an amazing way to purify the air and add greenery to your space.
